Grass Season 2 airdrop details

The Grass Season 2 airdrop, officially called Stage 2, is a live USDC claim. It pays everyone who shared bandwidth with Grass between October 14, 2024 and June 8, 2026. The claim closes on January 22, 2027.

How to claim your Grass Season 2 USDC

Step 1: Log in to the Grass Dashboard

Open the Grass Dashboard and sign in with the account you farmed Season 2 on. It’s the only place Grass runs checks and claims.

Step 2: Check your allocation

Open the Allocation tab. The Rewards Checker shows your USDC amount for Epochs 1 to 19.

Step 3: Activate the in-app wallet

Set up the wallet built into the dashboard and secure it with a passkey or email code. It’s non-custodial: Grass can’t move your funds and you can export the key at any time.

Step 4: Confirm your claim

Review the amount and confirm. The fees come out of your allocation, so there’s nothing to deposit. When Solana fees spike, Grass suggests waiting a few days before claiming. Full rules are in the Grass Rewards Program Terms.

Step 5: Withdraw, swap or export your USDC

Keep the USDC in the wallet, export the key to a wallet like Phantom, or cash out and swap through the built-in MoonPay and Jupiter integrations. Both run their own terms and KYC checks.

Step 6: Keep your Grass node running

Nodes keep earning points after the Season 2 snapshot. The Grass Desktop app and the Grass Android app earned more than the browser extension in Season 2. Grass Foundation airdrop: Airdrop One vs Season 2

The Grass Foundation runs the GRASS rewards program and publishes its terms on grassfoundation.io. Two distributions go by the Foundation’s name and they’re claimed in different places.

Airdrop One paid 100 million GRASS (10% of supply) to early users. The main pool went to anyone who earned 500+ Grass Points and linked a wallet before October 14, 2024. Claims ran on grassfoundation.io from October 28, 2024 until about March 27, 2025. That window is closed.

Season 2 pays USDC instead of GRASS, funded by network revenue. Grass says the switch lets users in every eligible region claim quickly despite regulatory uncertainty. It adds no GRASS to circulation and holding GRASS doesn’t change your allocation. Claims run only on the Grass Dashboard until January 22, 2027.

Uptime Points, for uptime, connection quality, location and referrals, pay $0.00000007 each. Bandwidth actually used carries the most weight.

Will there be another Grass airdrop after Season 2?

Grass hasn’t announced a next distribution as of September 24, 2026. Nodes keep earning points after the June 8, 2026 snapshot, so anyone still running the Desktop or Android app is building activity a future round could count. No round has been promised, so treat those points as speculative.

What is Grass Network

Grass is a bandwidth-sharing network on Solana. You run the Grass app on desktop, Android or Chrome. The network routes public web requests through the part of your connection you aren’t using, turns that traffic into web datasets and sells them to AI labs as training data.

Grass reported $17 million in revenue for the first half of 2026 and expects $65 million to $75 million for the full year from training data, per its July 7, 2026 holder call. That revenue funds the Season 2 USDC payout.

In December 2023 the team behind Grass announced a $3.5 million seed round co-led by Polychain Capital and Tribe Capital, taking its total raised to $4.5 million, as crypto.news reported. Under the app, the network runs on nodes that share bandwidth, routers that relay traffic and validators that verify it.
