Clone

Clone is trying to elevate Solana’s DeFi ecosystem by introducing scalable, efficient markets for non-native assets. They aim to enrich the Solana blockchain with an expansive range of on-chain assets.

Clone Protocol has made an announcement that they are winding down Clone Protocol. The deprecation will be finalized (all liquidity withdrawn and clAssets refunded) by September 30th.

Step-by-Step Guide:
  1. Clone Protocol has made an announcement that they are winding down Clone Protocol.
  2. The deprecation will be finalized (all liquidity withdrawn and clAssets refunded) by September 30th.
  3. The protocol announced that they lack the resources to continue building it.
  4. The winding down will take place in three stages.
  5. The first stage will be the extraction, followed by liquidation and then the deprecation.
  6. Liquidity providers need to close their positions by August 27.
  7. Deprecation stage will happen on August 29.
  8. During this stage, clAsset holders can use the wrapper to swap their deprecated clAssets for underlying bridged assets. These assets can then be bridged back to their original chain and sold, or sold using Jupiter on Solana if sufficient liquidity exists.
