Symmetry Trade

Symmetry Trade is a decentralised perpetual exchange on Scroll that has been audited by Peckshield, offering up to 25x leverage on crypto-assets like BTC, ETH and SOL. Users can also supply USDC to the liquidity pool and receive symLP in return, which earns yield from all of the available markets on Symmetry. The platform currently supports portfolio margin for greater capital efficiency and in the near future a multi-collateral system will be introduced.

Symmetry Trade is the largest decentralised derivatives protocol on Scroll in terms of Total Value Locked. They have hinted at a potential airdrop for early users.

Step-by-Step Guide:
  1. Head to Symmetry’s platform, connect your wallet and switch to Scroll.
  2. You will need some ETH and USDC first. You can get it from Binance.
  3. If you don’t have funds on Scroll, use Rhino.fi to bridge some ETH over. Connect your ETH wallet and sign two messages (no gas fees). Scroll recommends Rhino.fi bridge on their website’s bridge list.
  4. Bridge your ETH and/or USDC from the Ethereum mainnet to the Scroll mainnet.
  5. Deposit some USDC to begin trading. Open trades regularly from the trade page.
  6. The more trading volume you generate, the higher the potential reward you could receive from their airdrop.
  7. Also, go the liquidity page to deposit USDC, mint symLP and earn yield from trading fees.
  8. The more liquidity provided, the higher the chances are that you’ll receive a potential airdrop.
  9. Follow Symmetry on X and turn on notifications for further updates.
  10. Early users who’ve interacted with the platform may get an airdrop if they launch their own token.
  11. Symmetry have hinted that they are monitoring user activity, which could indicate they that plan on launching a token.
  12. Please note that there is no guarantee that they will do an airdrop to the early users of the platform. It’s only speculation.
