Phoenix Airdrop Details

Phoenix has not announced a token or points program, and the team has publicly said no points system is active. Two paid reward paths are live right now. Phoenix’s own referral program pays fee rebates in USDC, and Phoenix perps volume counts toward Frontier Traders Season 1, a Solana Foundation trading competition with more than $1 million in rewards that runs until November 11, 2026.

Both depend on trading with your own capital, and Frontier rewards come with KYC and country restrictions. A token airdrop is still speculative. Perpetual DEXes with this level of funding have a history of running retroactive token distributions for early users, so building volume now is a reasonable hedge if Phoenix moves in that direction. Traders who hit $10,000 in lifetime volume can generate a personal referral code with a custom name.

How to Farm the Phoenix Airdrop

Step 1: Visit the Phoenix platform

Go to the Phoenix website and review the markets and interface.

Step 2: Connect a Solana wallet

Click “Connect Wallet” and link your wallet. Approve the connection request in your wallet extension.

Step 3: Get USDC for trading

Phoenix uses USDC on Solana as the primary collateral. Ensure you have USDC in your wallet. If you don’t have any, you can buy USDC from an exchange like Binance and withdraw directly to your Solana wallet, or swap and bridge funds using the widget below.

Step 4: Deposit USDC on Phoenix

In the Phoenix app, open the deposit screen and transfer USDC from your wallet into your trading account.

Step 5: Trade perpetual markets

Open the markets page and start placing trades on the perpetuals you want exposure to. Spreading activity across several markets and using moderate leverage helps you build volume steadily without taking on liquidation risk that can wipe out the capital you need to keep trading.

Step 6: Unlock your referral code

Once you cross $10,000 in lifetime trading volume, the rewards page becomes available and you can generate a personal referral code with a custom name. Codes have usage caps at launch that expand over time.

Step 7: Share your code and claim rewards

Share your referral code with other traders to earn 20% of their fees as a direct referrer. Anyone they refer gives you an additional 10% as a second-tier reward. Rewards update weekly and can be claimed once they pass the $1 minimum, depositing directly into your USDC spot balance on Phoenix.

Latest Update: Frontier Traders Season 1 Pays $1M+ for Trading on Phoenix

Frontier Traders, a trading program from the Solana Foundation, opened Season 1 on September 22, 2026. It runs until November 11, 2026 at 12:00 UTC with more than $1 million in rewards. All perpetual futures volume you trade on Phoenix or Solflare counts, so your Phoenix account is one way in.

Treat this as a paid trading competition. Rewards depend on your volume and PnL, which means you trade with your own USDC, pay fees and carry market and liquidation risk. Small accounts will earn little: the first Reward Crate needs $10,000 in validated volume and pays $2 to $20.

Ways to Earn

  • Global Leaderboard: Traders are ranked by PnL and by volume, each week and across the season. Each weekly leaderboard pays $10,000 to its top 10 ($3,000 for first). Each season leaderboard pays $50,000 to its top 50 ($10,000 for first).
  • Reward Crates: Six volume milestones, from Starter at $10K to Diamond at $10M. Starter pays $2 to $20, Silver ($50K) pays $10 to $100 and Gold ($250K) pays $20 to $2,000. Ranges for Sapphire, Obsidian and Diamond have not been announced.
  • Weekly Campaigns: A new trading campaign each week, run with partners or focused on specific assets. Campaign volume also counts toward your leaderboard rank and Crate milestones.
  • Road to London: Eight finalists compete at the Grand Final in London on November 14, 2026, and the winner chooses $250,000 in stablecoins or a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The Season PnL and Season Volume leaders each get a seat. The rest go to live event winners and Frontier picks.

Restrictions

  • KYC is required before any reward can be opened or paid. Rewards are forfeited if you don’t finish verification within 30 days of being notified.
  • Rewards can’t be claimed with KYC from Afghanistan, Belarus, Central African Republic, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (Kinshasa), Cuba, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Myanmar, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, Yemen or Zimbabwe.
  • You must be 18 or older, and only one account per person is allowed.
  • Only volume traded after you register for the campaign counts. Wash trading, self-trading, spoofing and other volume inflation are excluded and can lead to disqualification.
  • Rewards are paid in a USD stablecoin on Solana and must be claimed within 30 days of notification.

How to Join Frontier Season 1

  1. Sign up on Frontier Traders before you start trading, since earlier volume does not count
  2. Deposit USDC on Phoenix and trade perpetuals. The same volume counts toward the leaderboard, Crates and weekly campaigns at once
  3. Open the current weekly campaign on Frontier to check its window and rewards
  4. Track your milestones on the Frontier dashboard, complete KYC when prompted and claim each reward before its window closes

Tips for Maximizing Phoenix Allocation

Build volume steadily, not in single sessions. Consistent weekly activity tends to weigh more in retroactive distributions than one large trading day, and it gets you to the $10,000 referral threshold without burning through fees on a single bet.

Trade across several markets. Spreading volume across multiple pairs looks more like real usage than farming, which is the kind of pattern retroactive scoring models filter against.

Refer real traders. Self-referrals are blocked, and wash trading or other abusive patterns can get the referral relationship revoked. Focus on bringing in users who will actually trade.

Conclusion

Phoenix currently offers two paid ways to earn: USDC fee-share through its referral program and Frontier Season 1 prizes until November 11, 2026. Both depend on trading volume and carry a real risk of losing your capital. The same activity could also matter if Ellipsis Labs runs a retroactive distribution down the line. Register on Frontier, deposit USDC, trade perpetuals consistently and keep leverage at a level you can afford.

What is Phoenix?

Phoenix is an on-chain perpetuals exchange on Solana, currently live in private beta. It is built by Ellipsis Labs, the same team behind the original Phoenix spot orderbook DEX. The new product brings perpetual futures trading to a similar on-chain orderbook design, with execution settled directly on Solana rather than through off-chain matching engines.

Ellipsis Labs has raised $44.3M across multiple funding rounds, backed by several well-known crypto venture funds. Their earlier work on the Phoenix spot DEX informs how the perpetuals exchange handles order matching and latency on Solana.
