- Trade and earn Season 2 points
- Airdrop unconfirmed
- Chain: Arbitrum
Ostium Airdrop Details
Ostium has not announced a token, an airdrop allocation or a TGE date, so any future airdrop remains speculative. The strongest signal is the Ostium Points Program, which started on March 31, 2025, with 10 million retroactive points for early mainnet, testnet and pre-testnet users.
Season 2 is live with a hard cap of 25 million points. Weekly trading, referral and LP scores grow as you use the platform, then convert into Ostium Points every Sunday before resetting to zero. Boost Windows rotate weekly and give a selected group of assets 2x points and 50% lower fees. Points are not awarded on volume alone. Ostium adjusts how many are earned as market activity changes.
Latest Update: Ostium opened its OLP Recovery Portal for holders affected by the July exploit on September 30, 2026.
How to Participate in the Ostium Airdrop
Step 1: Connect Your Wallet to Ostium
Open the Ostium trading app and sign up with your wallet. Check the restricted regions in Ostium’s docs first, since the app blocks some jurisdictions.
Step 2: Deposit USDC on Arbitrum
Ostium uses USDC on Arbitrum as collateral. You can buy USDC on Bybit and withdraw it to Arbitrum, or move funds from another chain with the widget below.
Swap and bridge across 30+ chains without leaving this page.
Fast routes, low fees.

Step 3: Trade During Active Boost Windows
Check the current Boost Window in the app or on Ostium’s X account and trade the featured assets for 2x points at half the usual fees. Keep leverage low, since a liquidation costs far more than the points you earn.
Step 4: Share Your Referral Link
Copy your referral link from the Ostium Points page. Trading by users you refer adds to your weekly score.
Step 5: Track Your Weekly Score and Points
Return to the Points page to follow your weekly trading and LP scores, your Season 2 total and your leaderboard rank. Scores convert into points every Sunday.
Ostium OLP Recovery Plan
Wallets that held OLP at Arbitrum block 484,137,016 on July 15, 2026, can claim through the Ostium Vault page. Of the 3,666 affected wallets, 3,321 (90.59%) qualify for a full refund of their verified loss in Stage 1. Every claiming wallet is screened with Chainalysis KYT under the recovery terms.
- Losses of 1,000 USDC or less: Claim the full amount from the Convenience Contract by December 29, 2026 (23:59 UTC).
- Losses above 1,000 USDC: By October 30, 2026 (23:59 UTC), take a flat 1,000 USDC or stay in Stage 2. Wallets that make no choice enter Stage 2 automatically.
Tips for Maximizing Ostium Points
Trade the boosted pairs: Boost Windows double your points and halve your fees on the same trade, which makes them the cheapest way to build a weekly score.
Stay active every week: Scores reset each Sunday, so steady weekly activity counts for more than one large burst.
Mind the hard cap: Season 2 stops at 25 million points in total, so points earned now come from a shrinking pool.
Use official links only: Hacks attract fake recovery sites. Open the app and portal from Ostium’s X account or docs.
Important Terms
Ostium Points (OP): Season 2 rewards compiled from your weekly trading, referral and LP scores.
Boost Windows: Weekly periods where a group of assets earns 2x points and pays half the usual fees.
OLP (Ostium Liquidity Pool): The USDC vault that settles trades on Ostium and was drained in the July 2026 exploit.
Convenience Allocation: A flat 1,000 USDC payment for larger OLP holders who prefer a fast exit over Stage 2.
Risks and Considerations
Total value locked fell from about $63.8 million the day before the attack to roughly $3.9 million in late October 2026. Law360 reported in September that a lender’s assignee obtained a temporary restraining order freezing about $15 million of Ostium Labs’ assets over an alleged loan default. Leveraged trading can wipe out your margin. Points also do not guarantee a token.

Conclusion
Ostium Points Season 2 is the live way to position for any future Ostium token: trade Boost Window assets, refer traders and check your score every Sunday before the 25 million point cap fills. Affected OLP holders also need to act on the recovery plan by October 30 or December 29.

What is Ostium?
Ostium is a decentralized perpetuals exchange on Arbitrum for trading real-world markets such as stocks, indices, commodities and forex with USDC collateral. Traders go long or short on assets like gold, oil and the Nasdaq without holding tokenized versions of them. Ostium has not launched a token yet.
In April 2026 Ostium added a hedging layer that routes directional exposure to institutional partners, including Jump. At that point the protocol reported over $50 billion in cumulative volume from more than 26,000 traders. Ostium Labs has raised $27.8 million in total, including a $20 million Series A co-led by General Catalyst and Jump Crypto in December 2025.
On July 15, 2026, an attacker used a compromised oracle-signer key to drain about $23.75 million in USDC from the Ostium Liquidity Pool (OLP). Ostium paused trading, reopened on July 23 on new infrastructure and later announced Gateway, a rebuilt API and liquidity layer for professional traders and venues.
