Magic Eden has officially announced the launch of their native token, $ME, and did an initial airdrop worth 12.5% of total supply. The token distribution is designed to occur over 4 years, with more than half allocated to the community. Unclaimed tokens will be redistributed to $ME stakers as future rewards.

Magic Eden has announced a bonus airdrop for users who stake $ME, distributing a share of approximately 16 million unclaimed $ME from the Token Generation Event (TGE). Rewards will be allocated based on staking power and duration, with early and continuous stakers receiving higher allocations. To qualify, users must have been actively staking at the February 1st snapshot, with future emissions determined by both staking power and trading volume.
