What is PRED?
PRED is a sports prediction exchange where users trade the probability of real-world sporting outcomes. Rather than placing bets against a house, participants buy and sell shares representing event outcomes directly with other users. There are no odds-makers, no house edge, and no risk of being limited or banned for winning.
The platform allows users to exit positions before an event concludes — selling shares to lock in profits or cut losses early. This peer-to-peer structure distinguishes PRED from traditional sportsbooks and prediction markets that rely on centralized liquidity.
PRED has raised a $2.5M seed round led by Accel, with participation from Coinbase Ventures and Reverie. The project is currently in a waitlist phase ahead of its Alpha launch.

The PRED mainnet is now live, and people can use Base to trade prediction markets. Pick the market you want, choose LONG or SHORT, enter the number of shares you want to trade, check the price, and then confirm.
Latest Update: PRED Mainnet Launch
The PRED mainnet is now live, and users can trade prediction markets on Base. To get started, do the following:
- Visit PRED and click “Join Early” to sign up
- Put at least $10 in BASE USDC into your wallet. You can buy USDC directly from Binance or use the Rhino.fi bridge to get it.
- Choose LONG or SHORT and then pick your market.
- Type in the number of shares you want to trade, check the price, and click “confirm.”
The Shares model is used for all trades, which means that orders are based on the number of shares instead of the amount of USDC. Orders are filled right away against the live order book, and your Portfolio panel shows your open positions. There is no limit on how much you can deposit.
How to Join the PRED Waitlist (Ended)
Step 1: Join the PRED Waitlist
Go to the PRED official site and click “Join Early”. Sign up using your email address or connect a wallet. You’ll be placed in the waitlist queue immediately upon registration.
Step 2: Share Your Referral Link
After signing up, locate your personal referral link in your account dashboard. Share it with friends — every successful referral moves both you and your friend up the waitlist queue, improving your chances of early Alpha access.
Step 3: Engage With the Community
Join PRED’s Discord, Telegram, and follow their Twitter/X account. The team has indicated they occasionally distribute invite codes to active and helpful community members. Early feedback, bug reports, and constructive participation in discussions improve your visibility.
Step 4: Watch for Alpha Campaigns and Competitions
During Alpha, PRED plans to run referral events, prediction competitions, and special campaigns where additional invite codes or rewards are distributed. Monitor official channels so you don’t miss these windows.
Step 5: Contribute as an Early Supporter
The PRED team has noted that contributors, testers, and early believers often receive direct recognition. Submitting meaningful feedback, participating in beta testing, and helping onboard others can lead to direct outreach and early rewards from the team.
