LayerEdge is a decentralized network that enhances the capabilities of Bitcoin Blockspace with ZK & BitVM, enabling every layer to be secured on Bitcoin. By leveraging BitVM based trust-minimized verification & proof aggregation, LayerEdge Network enables rollups, blockchains to settle on Bitcoin at up to 1% of the required blockspace and associated costs.
LayerEdge’s mission is to power the Bitcoin backed Internet for all layers, blockchains, rollups and apps. LayerEdge is developing a proof aggregation & verification layer bringing efficient trust-minimized settlement to Bitcoin, light clients for proof sampling, and a Universal Validator Set (UVS).
LayerEdge Airdrop Details
LayerEdge had launched an incentivized testnet program where participants could earn EDGE points by running light nodes and verifying proofs. Layeredge has launched their first airdrop claim for users who participated in the incentivized testnet program. Eligible participants can now claim their $EDGEN tokens.
Participants earn points continuously while running nodes, with 1 point awarded per second of active node operation. Additional points can be earned through daily check-ins and by completing various tasks within the ecosystem.
Binance Alpha will be the first platform to introduce LayerEdge (EDGEN)! Trading is set to begin on June 2nd, though the exact time will be announced later.

Future Community Drops: 170,000,000 EDGEN (17% of total supply)

- Verifier incentives and new user onboarding initiatives
- Structured to vest over four years to ensure sustained community rewards

LayerEdge Launches Proof of Humanity Verification
LayerEdge has launched a Proof of Humanity verification system at https://poh.layeredge.io/. Users can complete a base verification for just $0.12 instead of the full KYC process, which remains optional. This provides a quick, cost-effective way to verify identity on the platform.
