Abstract Airdrop Details

Abstract is winding down, and the chain shuts down on December 15, 2026. Funds not bridged off by then become inaccessible. Igloo Inc. announced the decision on October 6, citing stalled growth, thin liquidity, a restricted DeFi ecosystem and limited institutional adoption. Igloo has decided against launching an Abstract token and is moving its resources to Pudgy Penguins and PENGU. Move everything of value off the chain before the deadline, including balances in your Abstract Global Wallet, through the Migration Hub, which is the main route, or the Native Bridge, where withdrawals take about three hours.

Latest Update: Abstract Shuts Down on December 15, 2026

Bridge Your Assets Off Abstract

Move everything of value, including balances in your Abstract Global Wallet, through one of the two official routes before the deadline:

Migration Hub: the main route
Native Bridge: withdrawals take about three hours

How to Participate in the Abstract Airdrop (Ended)

Step 1: Create Your Abstract Global Wallet

Go to the Abstract Portal and sign in with an email, Google account, passkey or existing wallet. Abstract generates an AGW address separate from any wallet you connect, so save it: deposits go there, not to your MetaMask address.

Step 2: Bridge ETH to Abstract

ETH pays for gas, and 0.01 to 0.05 ETH covers months of activity. Open the wallet page, hit deposit, and pick a route:

Bridge from a wallet on Ethereum, Solana or another supported chain
Coinbase, by signing in and pulling funds across
Centralized exchange, which must be sent on zkSync Era rather than Abstract
MoonPay, by card or bank transfer

That zkSync Era detail trips people up. Pick up ETH on Bybit and bring it over with the widget below instead, which routes straight to Abstract.

Bridge funds

Swap and bridge across 30+ chains without leaving this page.
Fast routes, low fees.

Step 3: Verify Your PENGU Holdings for the XP Multiplier

Connect X and Discord on the Rewards page, then verify your PENGU balance in the Abstract Discord to claim a holder status. Three tiers:

Pengu I: 88,888 PENGU or more
Pengu II: 888,888 PENGU or more
Pengu III: 8,888,888 PENGU or more

Each tier adds a weekly XP bonus, and Pudgy Penguins and Lil Pudgy NFT holders get their own multiplier through the same flow. Statuses drop if your balance falls below the threshold.

Step 4: Start the 30-Day Voting Streak on Discover

Open Discover and upvote an app every single day. Upvotes are onchain transactions costing a fraction of a cent, and a 30-day streak unlocks a permanent multiplier on your XP. Miss one day and the counter resets to zero. Set a reminder: this is the cheapest permanent boost on the platform.

Step 5: Farm XP Across Ecosystem dApps

XP comes from using apps, so rotate rather than hammering one. Four worth your time:

Aborean: the ve(3,3) DEX and liquidity hub. Swap, provide liquidity, and lock ABX into veABX to vote on emissions and collect fees
Gigaverse: a browser-based on-chain RPG built on dungeons, crafting and fishing. ROM NFTs grant early access and weekly resource drops
Cambria: a multi-chain MMO on Abstract, with its Dungeons mode live since May 2026
Myriad Markets: prediction markets from DASTAN, the Decrypt and Rug Radio team, running points and seasons ahead of an expected MYR token

Several run their own reward programs, so one session builds toward more than one distribution. Our World Cup airdrop roundup covers Myriad in detail.

Step 6: Collect Badges in the Rewards Section

Open Badges under Rewards and claim everything marked eligible. Public badges cover simple actions like a first trade, hidden badges appear only once you trigger the action, and flash badges tie to one app for a few days before closing permanently. Check every two or three days: badge count fed the Aborean scoring.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will the Abstract airdrop happen?

Abstract has not announced a TGE date or confirmed that an airdrop will happen. The XP program has run since mainnet launched in January 2025, and the team keeps adding badges and multipliers without publishing a timeline.

How much PENGU do I need for the Abstract XP multiplier?

The lowest tier starts at 88,888 PENGU, with higher tiers at 888,888 and 8,888,888. Verify your balance in the Abstract Discord to activate it. The bonus applies weekly and disappears if your holdings drop below the threshold.

What happens if I break my voting streak?

The counter resets to zero and you restart the 30 days. Any multiplier you already unlocked stays, but breaking a streak below 30 days means starting over on Discover with a fresh daily upvote.

Do I need to spend money to farm Abstract XP?

You need a small ETH balance for gas, roughly 0.01 to 0.05 ETH. Voting, linking socials and claiming badges cost almost nothing beyond that. PENGU multipliers, DEX liquidity and game spending need real capital and are optional.

Which Abstract dApps give the most XP?

Abstract has not published XP weightings per app. Usage across Aborean, Gigaverse, Cambria and Myriad Markets covers DeFi, gaming and prediction markets, the spread that ecosystem distributions have rewarded so far.

Conclusion

Abstract is an unusual farm because the mechanics are cheap and the evidence is visible. A daily upvote, a small ETH balance and a rotation through four or five apps costs almost nothing, and the Aborean distribution showed that badge counts, PENGU balances and Gigaverse holdings get read as signals here.

What is Abstract?

Abstract is a Layer 2 (L2) network built on Ethereum that is meant to safely run blockchain apps for consumers on a large scale with low fees and fast transaction speeds. As a rollup built on top of the ZK Stack, it is meant to be a more scalable alternative to Ethereum. Abstract also looks and feels like Ethereum, but it has lower gas fees and can handle more transactions at once.
