Lens Protocol Airdrop Details

Lens has not announced a token or an airdrop, so any reward is speculative for now. The case for one rests on the size of the raise, a live mainnet with no native token and a new steward focused on consumer growth. If a distribution happens, onchain activity tied to your Lens account, such as posts, follows, collects and group membership, is the most likely signal it would track.

The live task right now is the Open Doors Day badge. Farcaster users can claim a free OG badge that mints to their Lens account and marks them as early arrivals from Farcaster. It is free and adds a dated record to your account.

Latest Update: Lens is running Open Doors Day, letting anyone with a Farcaster ID claim a free OG badge on Lens.

How to Participate in the Lens Protocol Airdrop

Step 1: Create a Lens Account on Orb

Download Orb, the main app on Lens, from the App Store or Google Play and sign up. Connect a wallet or use the sign-in options shown in the app, then pick your username.

Step 2: Set Up Your Profile

Add a profile photo, display name and bio. A complete profile is harder to mistake for a bot account.

Step 3: Claim the Lens OG Badge

Open the GM Lens page in your browser or launch the GM Lens mini app inside Farcaster. Connect your Farcaster account and tap “Get your badge.” The badge goes to your Lens account. The page also lets you bring over your Farcaster name, photo and bio.

Step 4: Post and Engage Regularly

Publish original posts, reply to others, follow accounts you like and join a few groups. Steady activity over several weeks builds a stronger history than a burst of actions in one day.

Step 5: Use More Than One Lens App

Log in to Hey with the same account and try Firefly, the multi-client from Mask Network that also supports Farcaster, X and Bluesky. Using several clients shows broader ecosystem use and costs nothing.

Step 6: Follow Official Lens Channels

Follow Lens and Mask Network on X and join the Lens Discord. Any token news, new campaigns or badge drops will appear there first.

Conclusion

Lens Protocol has a live chain, $46M in funding and a new steward in Mask Network, but still no token. The OG badge for Farcaster users is the easiest action available right now. A regularly used account on Orb or Hey covers the rest.

What is Lens Protocol?

Lens Protocol is an onchain social network where users own their accounts, followers and content. Apps such as Orb and Hey act as clients on top of the same social graph, so a profile and audience move with the user from one app to another. There is no Lens token yet, which is why the Lens Protocol airdrop remains on many watchlists.

Lens started on Polygon in 2022 and moved to its own chain in April 2025. Lens Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 built with ZKsync technology and Avail for data availability. It uses GHO as the gas token, which keeps fees close to zero.

The project raised $46M across two rounds. The $31M round in December 2024 was led by Lightspeed Faction with Circle, Consensys and Avail taking part, after an earlier $15M round backed by IDEO CoLab Ventures, Variant and General Catalyst. In January 2026, Aave founder Stani Kulechov handed stewardship of Lens to MaskDAO, the team behind Firefly, which also bought Orb. Aave now acts as a technical advisor.
