WalletConnect

The WalletConnect Network is the onchain UX ecosystem that makes web3 work by facilitating users’ use of any wallet across any app and platform. As a chain-agnostic infrastructure, it operates across ecosystems, from EVM and its L2s, to Solana, Cosmos, Polkadot, Bitcoin and more.

WalletConnect is running a free WCT airdrop for its users. The airdrop will happen in various seasons and the eligibility check for season 1 will go live in November. A total of 185 million WCT tokens are up for grabs.

WalletConnect’s token claim for season 1 and stake feature is live as of November 26, and will remain open until January 3, 2025. Further airdrop seasons are expected in the near future.

Step-by-Step Guide:
  1. Visit the WalletConnect airdrop registration page.
  2. Connect a mobile wallet/connect via WalletConnect QR code.
  3. Create your profile by clicking on “Register Here.” and connect your Ethereum wallet address.
  4. Build your profile by adding more wallet addresses and any GitHub accounts.
  5. Add your email address.
  6. The eligibility will be based on your past activity and usage of the WalletConnect network.
  7. Adding multiple connections increases the chances of improving your airdrop eligibility based on the activity and usage.
  8. As a user, your activity across the network, including connections, signatures, and on-chain activity, will be taken into consideration.
  9. As a contributor, past contributions to the WalletConnect Network, including projects spanning CAIPs, EIPs, Ethereum SDKs, non-EVM SDKs, etc., are a few factors for eligibility.
  10. Total tokens for season 1 airdrop are 50,000,000 WCT.
  11. More details on how and when to claim will be disclosed in November.

  13. WalletConnect’s token claim for season 1 is live until January 2nd, 2025. Users can check their eligibility, claim their WCT tokens and stake them here. Staking rewards will start accruing from December 19th onwards.
