What is Teneo Protocol?
Teneo Protocol is a decentralized, permissionless network of autonomous AI agents that turn real-time public data streams into structured intelligence for AI systems, researchers, and developers. Anyone can run a Teneo Community Node, which activates a Sub-Agent (called a Beacon) as a browser extension. The Beacon pulls signals from open-web sources like social media and feeds them back to the network as usable data.
Every node operator contributes to the network’s data layer instead of just consuming it, which is the basis of Teneo’s community-owned model. The $TENEO token will be the network’s native asset once it launches.
Teneo raised $3 million in a seed round co-led by RockawayX, Borderless Capital, and Generative Ventures.
Teneo Protocol Airdrop Details
Teneo’s $TENEO token airdrop has not been formally announced. What’s live right now is $AGENTIC, a non-transferable on-chain reward token that consolidates everything users have already earned, Points, Fragments, Discord roles, and NFTs, into one claimable balance. Teneo has been explicit that $AGENTIC is not $TENEO. It’s described as the first on-chain step toward future $TENEO rewards, and eligible holders will be able to exchange it for $TENEO once TGE happens.
Latest Update: Season 2’s pool is locked and the draw is being finalized, with winners set to be announced soon. Whether a new season will open hasn’t been confirmed yet.
How to Participate in the Teneo Protocol Airdrop
Step 1: Create a Teneo Account
Visit the Teneo Hub and sign up with your email or Google account. Verify your address to access the dashboard.
Step 2: Download the Beacon App
Get the Beacon app for your device from the Hub. It’s available on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android, and replaces the older browser extension.
Step 3: Activate Your Beacon
Sign in to the app with your Teneo account and bring your Beacon online. Each unique IP address earns independently, and one account can run up to 20 Beacons across separate devices.
Step 4: Claim Your Boost Every 8 Hours
Return to the app to claim accumulated Fragments and activate a reward multiplier. Consecutive claims raise the multiplier; missing a window lowers it, so consistency matters more than long single sessions.
Step 5: Connect Your Wallet and X Account
Open your Hub settings and link an EVM wallet plus your X account to your Teneo profile. Both are required for $AGENTIC eligibility, separate from the Beacon uptime requirement.
Step 6: Build Toward the 72-Hour Threshold
Keep your Beacon running until you clear 72 cumulative hours of uptime, the minimum needed to qualify for an $AGENTIC allocation. Uptime logged beyond the floor increases your eventual share.
Step 7: Refer Others Through the Hub
Share your referral link to earn 8% of your direct referrals’ Fragments and 2% from their referrals. This stacks on top of your own earnings without reducing what anyone else gets.
Step 8: Check the Season 2 Draw Results
Season 2 has closed and its $2,000 USDC pool is locked. If your Beacon ran during the season, you’re automatically entered, there’s no separate claim step. Watch the Season page in the Hub for winners; non-winning Beacons that stayed active still keep the Teneo Points they earned.
Tips for Maximizing Your Teneo Allocation
Connect your wallet and X account early. These are eligibility requirements for $AGENTIC, not optional extras, and missing either one means no allocation regardless of Beacon uptime.
Treat 72 hours as a floor, not a target. Teneo has said uptime logged before the snapshot counts more than time put in later, so early, consistent runtime pays off twice.
Don’t let your claim streak lapse. The 8-hour boost window rewards consistency. A missed claim quietly erodes your multiplier over time.
Stack the two-tier referral system. Earning from both direct referrals and their referrals adds up faster than relying on direct invites alone.
Important Terms
Fragments: A reward unit earned by running a Beacon, used to build ticket counts for seasonal USDC draws and to help calculate $AGENTIC allocations.
$AGENTIC: A non-transferable on-chain token that represents a user’s total contribution history across Points, Fragments, Discord roles, and NFTs, exchangeable for $TENEO at TGE.
Beacon: Teneo’s native app for contributing bandwidth and data to the network, replacing the original Community Node browser extension.
AI Agent Testnet: A separate whitelist track run through the older Chrome extension dashboard, gated by Golden or Silver Ticket NFTs. It’s unrelated to $AGENTIC eligibility or the seasonal USDC draws, Teneo hasn’t tied testnet whitelist status to either.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will the Teneo Protocol $TENEO TGE happen?
Teneo hasn’t confirmed a date. The team has said it’s targeting Q4, but has also stated that timing depends on development progress and market conditions, so treat that as a working estimate rather than a fixed date.
Is the Teneo Protocol airdrop free to join?
Yes. Running a Beacon requires no deposit or gas. Connecting a wallet and X account for $AGENTIC eligibility also costs nothing.
What is $AGENTIC and is it the same as $TENEO?
No. $AGENTIC is a non-transferable reward token that tracks everything a user has earned so far. Teneo has stated directly that $AGENTIC is not $TENEO, though eligible holders will be able to convert it to $TENEO at TGE.
What happens if I haven’t hit the 72-hour Beacon requirement yet?
Nothing you’ve earned is lost. Points, Fragments, Discord roles, and NFTs all still count toward your eventual $AGENTIC allocation once you clear the eligibility bar.
Will there be future $TENEO airdrops beyond $AGENTIC?
$AGENTIC is described as the first on-chain step toward $TENEO rewards, not a one-time event. Seasonal Beacon draws are also ongoing: Season 1 paid out, Season 2’s pool is locked with its draw pending, and whether a new season will open hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Conclusion
Teneo Protocol hasn’t confirmed a $TENEO airdrop, but $AGENTIC is live now and consolidates everything users have already earned through Beacons, Discord activity, and NFTs. Qualifying takes three concrete steps: connect a wallet, link an X account, and log at least 72 hours running a Beacon, with more uptime translating into a larger eventual allocation.
