Participants who completed quests, mined gems, or purchased Yats domain names can choose between two options: accept an instant USDC offer claimable immediately on Base (while supplies last), or receive their full XTM allocation through 12 monthly installments starting December 2, 2025 in Tari Universe.

Claiming Options
Eligible participants must choose between two distribution methods:
- Instant USDC Option
- Receive an immediate USDC offer for your XTM allocation
- Claim USDC directly on Base network (available while supplies last)
- No vesting period
- 12-Month XTM Vesting (“Purple Pill”)
- Receive your full XTM allocation distributed over 12 monthly installments
- First installment becomes claimable on December 2, 2025 in Tari Universe
- Subsequent monthly distributions follow

How to Participate in the Tari Airdrop (Ended)
To maximize your chances of receiving the Tari airdrop, follow these steps to accumulate Gems, Turtle Shells, and Sky Hammers before the April 2025 mainnet launch:
- Join Tari Quests:
- Visit the Tari airdrop page
- Connect your account and complete the introductory quests
- Follow Tari on social media platforms as part of the quests
- Download and Run Tari Universe:
- Download Tari Universe
- Install the application on your computer
- Run the application to mine testnet Tari (tXTM) and earn Gems for each block you contribute to mining
- Choose between Ludicrous mode (higher earnings but more resource-intensive) or ECO mode (for longer periods of lower-intensity mining)
- Join Discord/Telegram for help with testnet mining
- As of March 10th, 2025, miners will earn 1 gem every 30 seconds they mine with Tari Universe (this is in addition to the gems you earn when you win tXTM and invite friends).
- Acquire Yats Domain Names:
- Purchase Yats domain names from Magic Eden marketplace
- Some ETH is required on mainnet to purchase Yats, get some from Binance and withdraw to your wallet
- Focus on Gen 0 or Gen 1 Yats with high rhythm scores (>70) to earn Turtle Shells and Sky Hammers
- Yats with higher rhythm scores translate to more Gems, Turtle Shells and Sky Hammers
- Hold these domains until the airdrop distribution
- Refer Friends:
- Share your referral link with friends and community members
- Earn 1,000 Gems per invite when they complete introductory quests
- Earn 5,000 Gems per invite when friends run Tari Universe

- Memory Usage: Ensure your system has sufficient RAM to run Tari Universe without impacting other applications.
- Cooling: Adequate cooling is important, especially when running in Ludicrous mode for extended periods.
Mode Selection
- Ludicrous Mode: Best for dedicated mining sessions when you’re not using your computer for other tasks. This mode maximizes your chances of earning Gems but uses more system resources.
- ECO Mode: Ideal for background mining while using your computer for other activities or for extended mining sessions on laptops to prevent overheating.
Time Management
- Schedule Mining Sessions: Plan regular mining sessions, especially during off-peak hours when your computer is idle.
