Latest Update: Monad Mainnet Launch

Monad Mainnet is now officially live. Here’s how to get started:

Getting Set Up

1. Bridge Funds to Monad: Visit the official Monad Bridge to transfer assets to Monad Mainnet. If you participated in the presale or received an airdrop allocation, you can skip this step.
2. Add Monad RPC: Configure your wallet with the Monad Mainnet RPC using the official chain settings available at ChainList.
3. Explore the Ecosystem: Access available applications through the Monad app portal to start interacting with the network.

Monad Airdrop Claim Portal Launch (Expired)

The Monad airdrop claim portal is now live. Users have until November 3, 2025 at 13:00 UTC to connect their wallets and accounts before claim profiles are locked.

Claiming Process

1. Visit the claim portal
2. Connect your wallet using Privy authentication (supports EVM and Solana wallets, plus Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Farcaster, and email accounts)
3. If eligible, set your claim wallet to the address where you want to receive MON tokens on Monad Mainnet
4. You can return to connect additional wallets and accounts until the November 3rd deadline

Important Dates

• Claim Profile Deadline: November 3, 2025 at 13:00 UTC
• Optional Early Reveal Event: October 28, 2025

There is no advantage to claiming early, so users should take their time and exercise caution throughout the process.

MON Token Allocation Categories

MON tokens have been distributed across five distinct tracks:

1. Monad Community The largest allocation track, rewarding impactful, long-term community members identified through manual review, the Monad Community Recognizer, and social graph analysis.

2. Onchain Users Power users of major mainnet blockchains identified through:

• Significant DEX trading activity on Hyperliquid, Phantom Wallet, Pump.fun, Virtuals, and other platforms
• Major deposits into DeFi protocols including Aave, Euler, Morpho, Pendle, Lighter, Curve, PancakeSwap, and Uniswap
• Long-term ownership of NFTs from collections like Azuki, Chimpers, CryptoPunks, Doodles, Mad Lads, Milady Maker, Moonbirds, Pudgy Penguins, and others
• Active governance participation in major DeFi protocol DAOs on Ethereum

Eligibility was determined based on a snapshot taken on September 30, 2025 at 23:59 UTC.

3. Crypto Community Members of the broader crypto community identified through social graph analysis, Monad Cards initiative participants, [ ] community members, Legion fundraising platform participants, Backpack users, Fantasy Top heroes, MetaDAO token holders, ARC Community members, active LobsterDAO Telegram group participants, and notable Farcaster users.

4. Crypto Contributors and Crypto Curious Individuals who contributed to crypto through security research, protocol development, and education, including:

• ZachXBT and SEAL 911 members
• Select Cantina auditors with impactful findings
• Protocol Guild members
• Students and instructors from RareSkills and SheFi

5. Monad Builders Developers and teams building on Monad, including:

• Teams building natively on Monad
• Developers with qualified submissions in Monad Blitzes, Dev Missions, and hackathons
• Individuals who made notable contributions as builders

Note: Monad Foundation and Category Labs team members are excluded from claiming tokens in this airdrop.

How to Prepare for the Monad Airdrop (Ended)

Wallet Setup and Testnet Access

1. Set up your wallet
   • Read our comprehensive guide for Haha Wallet, the primary wallet for Monad
   • Alternatively, visit the Testnet Monad Explorer Dashboard and connect your existing EVM (Rabby/Metamask) wallet to receive 10 test $MON
   • Add the Monad RPC to your wallet for connection
2. Claim MON test tokens
   • Due to high demand, you may need to obtain MON test tokens from these alternative faucets:
     • Gas.zip

     • OKX
     • Haha Wallet Discord
     • Owlto

1. Complete “Monad Explorer” Layer3 Tasks – The first L3 campaign for Monad

5. Deploy a test smart contract on Monad testnet via Owlto
   • Connect your wallet
   • Select basic mode and click on “Deploy”
   • Confirm the transaction in your wallet

DeFi Exploration Tasks

1. Use PancakeSwap on Monad testnet
   • aprMON is now live
   • Stake MON on aPriori via stake.apr.io
   • Add liquidity to explore the testnet functionality
2. Make swaps on Uniswap on the Monad testnet by choosing it via the network button
3. Use Orbiter to make swaps on Monad testnet
4. Make swaps/Provide LP on Ambient Finance on Monad testnet
5. Trade or provide liquidity on Izumi on Testnet
6. Stake/Unstake Testnet MON tokens on Kintsu
7. Use Monad mini-apps like MoMoney and Monad Twist on Farcaster

Monad Community Recognizer Role Claim Process

Monad has introduced a new Community Recognizer role for existing Discord members with full access. Here’s how to claim this role:

Eligibility Requirements

• Must already be in the @monad Discord server
• Must have full Discord access

How to Claim Your Role

1. Visit the recognizer portal
2. Click “Get Started”
3. Select “Go to Matrica”
4. Sign in with your Discord account
5. Choose EVM and connect your wallet
6. Link your X (Twitter) account
7. Browse community profiles and cast your votes

This new role allows community members to participate in the recognition system and engage with other verified community profiles through the voting mechanism.

Monad Launches “Break Monad V2” Gaming Event

Monad has launched a new  event called “Break Monad V2” as part of their Monad Games Week. The dev community built fun mini apps so you can try to break Monad.

How to Participate

1. Visit the official Monad Mini Apps page
2. Create a Farcaster account first before going to the Mini App page.
3. Scroll to the game list
4. Select a game and start playing
