Kyros is a liquid restaking protocol built on Jito (Re)staking infrastructure on the Solana blockchain. The protocol introduces kySOL, a yield-bearing asset that combines multiple reward streams into a single token.
By holding kySOL, users can simultaneously earn Solana staking rewards, MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) rewards, and restaking rewards without managing multiple positions or assets.
The protocol aims to maximize yield potential for Solana stakers through its liquid restaking token model. Kyros effectively allows users to deposit JitoSOL (Jito’s staked SOL token) and receive kySOL in return, creating a composable asset that can be used throughout the Solana DeFi ecosystem while continuing to generate yield.
Kyros Airdrop Details
The KYROS airdrop claim is now live, allowing users to verify their allocation and claim their tokens. The Genesis Airdrop will distribute 25% (12.5M KYROS) to eligible users based on their contributions to Kyros’ growth, including long-standing kySOL and kyJTO holders, users engaging with these tokens across DeFi protocols, top Villagers, and the earliest active contributors. How to engage with Kyros by minting kySOL tokens (Ended)
- Visit app.kyros.fi
- Connect your Solana wallet
- Navigate to the minting section
- Deposit JitoSOL to receive kySOL in return
If you don’t have JitoSOL already, you’ll need to:
- Acquire SOL tokens (you can purchase SOL on Binance)
- Bridge tokens to Solana if needed (using Rhino Bridge)
- Stake your SOL with Jito to receive JitoSOL
- Then deposit your JitoSOL into Kyros
