BEAN

    What is Bean?

Bean is a gamified on-chain mining protocol built on Base. Players compete in 60-second rounds to win ETH and earn BEAN tokens. The protocol went live on February 25, 2026. It combines competitive gameplay with real DeFi mechanics, such as real ETH stakes, on-chain randomness, and live rewards in every round.

There are 25 blocks in a 5×5 grid that the game runs on. Each round, players put ETH on blocks. When the timer runs out, on-chain randomness picks one block as the winner. All deployed ETH has a 1% admin fee taken out, and the losers’ pool has a 10% vault fee added to it.

Miners on the winning block get a fair share of the remaining ETH from losing blocks. Every round also makes one BEAN token, which goes to the miner on the winning block.

Bean also has two bonus features: the Beanpot, which is a growing jackpot that can start at any time and give players a big BEAN bonus, and the roasting mechanic, which gives miners who wait to claim their BEAN tokens a share of the vault fee revenue.

    Bean Airdrop Details

Bean has not announced a token airdrop or external rewards campaign. You can earn BEAN by playing games on minebean.com. It is a live, tradable token on Base that you can earn by playing rounds. There is no public funding, VC backing, or outside incentive programs for the project that we know of at this time.

There hasn’t been an official airdrop yet, but early participation helps people get used to the protocol and earn BEAN by playing the game. If Bean starts offering rewards programs in the future, miners who are active now may be in a good position.

    Key Parameters:

    • Distribution Method: In-game minting (1 BEAN per round to winning miner)
    • TGE: N/A — BEAN is already live and tradable
    • Referral Program: None

How to Participate in Bean Mining

Step 1: Visit the Bean App

Connect your wallet to the Bean website. Bean is also available as a Base miniapp that came out on March 10, 2026.

You’ll need ETH on the Base network to deploy into rounds. Purchase ETH on Binance and bridge it to Base using Rhino Bridge.

Step 2: Choose Your Blocks on the Grid

Examine the 25-block 5×5 grid. The amount of ETH deployed to each block is displayed. Enter the quantity of ETH you wish to deploy after choosing one or more blocks. A proportionately larger portion of the losers’ ETH pool is earned by higher deployment on a winning block.

Step 3: Deploy ETH and Wait for the Round to End

Verify the transaction. The duration of each round is sixty seconds. The on-chain random selection selects a winning block when the timer goes off. You will get your portion of the redistributed ETH and a chance to win the one BEAN that is minted that round if your block wins.

Step 4: Claim BEAN or Activate the Roasting Mechanic

After earning BEAN, you have two options:

    • Claim immediately: Withdraw your BEAN to your wallet
    • Delay claiming (roasting): If you hold unclaimed BEAN, you’ll get a share of the 10% vault fees that are given to unclaimed token holders. This will increase your total BEAN yield over time.

Step 5: Watch for the Beanpot

The Beanpot jackpot can happen at any time while you are playing. If you keep playing rounds, you’ll have a chance to win the big BEAN bonus when it fires.

    Tips for Maximizing BEAN Rewards

Delay claiming to activate roasting: Every round, unclaimed BEAN gets a cut of the vault fees. You get more the longer you wait to claim, as long as you’re okay with the trade-off.

Deploy across multiple rounds consistently: No matter how big the pot is, BEAN is minted once per round. If you keep playing, you’ll have more chances to land on winning blocks over time.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Is There a Bean Airdrop?

A BEAN token airdrop has not been announced by Bean. One BEAN is created every round and given to a miner on the winning block; the token is obtained directly through gameplay. There have been no disclosed external rewards campaigns or airdrop programs.

How Do I Earn ETH Playing Bean?

At the conclusion of a round, miners on the winning block receive ETH that was deployed to losing blocks in proportion to each player’s deployment. Prior to redistribution, a 1% administrative fee is subtracted from the entire pool.

What Is the Roasting Mechanic in Bean?

Roasting means keeping your BEAN without claiming it. Unclaimed BEAN gets a cut of the 10% vault fees taken from the losing pool in each round, which raises your total yield. You can claim at any time and stop roasting.

    Is Bean Available on Mobile?

Yes. Bean started as a Base miniapp on March 10, 2026. You can access it at base.app and minebean.com, which is the main web app.

    Conclusion

Bean has a simple on-chain game on Base where you can win real rewards. Every 60 seconds, ETH is redistributed, and players earn BEAN tokens all the time while playing. The roasting mechanic gives miners who are willing to wait for claims a chance to get more yield, and the Beanpot gives them a bonus that they can’t predict.
