Stable

    What is Stable?

Stable is a Layer 1 blockchain purpose-built to serve as the primary infrastructure for USDT, the world’s leading stablecoin. Developed with backing from Bitfinex and Tether, Stable addresses the specific needs of USDT transactions and payments across a scalable network architecture.

The project recently secured $28 million in seed funding led by Bitfinex and Hack VC, positioning itself as the first dedicated stablechain optimized for USDT operations.

The blockchain implements several features tailored to USDT functionality. Users can pay transaction fees directly in USDT, which serves as the native gas token on the network. This eliminates the need to hold separate tokens for gas fees—a common friction point on other blockchains.

Additionally, Stable offers gas-free transfers for USDT0, guaranteed blockspace allocation, and aggregated transfer capabilities to improve efficiency and reduce costs for high-volume users.

    Stable Airdrop Details

The STABLE token airdrop is now live, marking the transition of Stable into its next phase as a stablecoin-native settlement layer. Claims are open from December 8, 2025 at 12:00 UTC until March 2, 2026 at 12:00 UTC. Check your eligibility and claim your allocation on the Merkl claim portal.

Latest Update: Stable Mainnet Launch and Airdrop Claim

    How to Claim

Before claiming, your wallet needs to be connected to the Stable network and hold gUSDT for gas fees. Follow these steps:

    1. Add the Stable network to your wallet using the official parameters (RPC endpoint, Chain ID, block explorer, and token metadata) available on the Stable Network Reference page
    2. Bridge USDT to Stable via Stargate to obtain the required gas token
    3. Once the bridge completes, you’ll receive USDT0 in your wallet (the canonical bridged USDT representation used for settlement)
    4. In most cases, you will automatically receive a small amount of gUSDT after bridging to cover initial transaction fees
    5. Visit the Merkl claim portal, connect your eligible wallet, and complete the claim process

    Eligibility Categories

The airdrop distribution recognizes users, builders, and ecosystem participants who contributed to Stable’s early development. Eligible participants include:

    • Users who held vault receipts from the two pre-deposit phases
    • Users who deployed those receipts into integrated vaults on Morpho, Pendle, and Uniswap

Allocations are determined across several eligibility categories, and participants who qualify through multiple categories are eligible to receive the combined total of their allocations.

Ensure you claim before the March 2, 2026 deadline to secure your STABLE token allocation.

Lombard has launched a 21-Day Launch Campaign celebrating Stable mainnet, offering 4x Lux points starting December 9, 2024 at 1PM UTC. Deploy BTC.b as collateral on Morpho through the Stable deposit page to earn up to 10,000 LUX per BTC.b daily—9,000 LUX with badge plus 1,000 LUX standard rate.

    Stable Public Testnet Launch (Ended)

Stable has launched its Public Testnet, enabling developers to deploy, test, and interact with the Stablechain using standard EVM tooling.

    Network Configuration

Add the Stable Testnet to your wallet using these details:

    • Network Name: Stable Testnet
    • Chain ID: 2201
    • Currency Symbol: gUSDT
    • Explorer: https://testnet.stablescan.xyz/

    Getting Started

    1. Fund Your Testnet Wallet

Stable uses gUSDT (unwrapped USDT0) as the gas token. To obtain testnet tokens:

    1. Visit the faucet
    2. Click “Get gUSDT” to receive 1 gUSDT in your wallet

For additional gUSDT or USDT0, you can bridge Test USDT from Ethereum Sepolia to Stable Testnet.

    2. Test Transactions

Once funded, you can send gUSDT to and from wallets to test the network’s transaction capabilities.

    Developer Features

Developers can now access the full technical foundation of Stable:

    • Deploy and test smart contracts using Solidity
    • Connect with standard EVM tools including Hardhat, Foundry, and ethers.js
    • Interact through Stable’s public RPC endpoint
    • Use JSON-RPC libraries for network interactions
    • Test USDT-based transactions using the block explorer
